I’m usually going to be trying to post on Mondays, but was actually bed-ridden almost all day monday, so it didn’t happen…
Which actually plays into this post 🙂
I don’t often write posts like this. Genuine, purely an update on where I am in life. But, today is one of those days! Thank you in advance to anyone who keeps reading 😉
About three months ago I started a new regime of treatments for my Lyme Disease. And, miraculously…it’s working! But, my body is in a pretty fragile place right now. While I can definitely see improvements (more energy, less brain fog, less pain, etc) I also have to be careful, because it doesn’t take much to relapse.
Case in point: being bed-ridden a few days ago, feeling like I had Malaria again.
Today I’m feeling much, much better. Still, it’s an interesting balancing game, learning to embrace my new found improvements, while also not pushing my body too hard. Your prayers with juggling the healing process would be so wonderful!
The days when I’m up are wondrous, and I’m hardly able to believe it when I’m taking walks or feeling almost normal.
But the days when I’m down? Well. It’s rough. Really, really rough. (And my Lyme symptoms are just a fraction of what I know so many are dealing with!)
So, yes! Your prayers are always so, so precious to me.
I also have some upcoming news–my family and I are setting out on a roadtrip to Idaho!
I’m returning to Coeur d’Alene for another round of Lyme check-ups/treatments. For those of your wondering what exactly that looks like–I’m hoping to write an in depth post about it next week while I’m there! Depending on how this check-up goes, we’ll know what supplements I’ll be continuing to take and how often I’ll have to return to Idaho for treatments.
So, exciting stuff!
We’ll also are going to be meeting up with my Aunt (and her family) and my Grandparents (on my mom’s side)! Family reunions are always fun. But, considering I’ll be undergoing treatments…I’m unsure how sociable I’ll be. We’ll see!
I’m excited for these opportunities–traveling, treatments and visiting family. However, I’d so appreciate your prayers for my overall health in all of this. That I can keep my head above water and enjoy my family and the experience as much as I’d like to.
Thank you all!
(See how I said that was purely a personal post? ^_^ Thanks for taking a peek into my life, guys. For caring enough to follow along with me!)
