Welcome to my brand new website, karaswanson.com! I’m so happy to finally be able to unveil it to you. This is my first official post here, but there’s quite a few others if you want to poke around and check it out!
Not only is today the launch of my website…IT’S ALSO THE RELEASE DAY FOR MY NOVELLA! *does happy dance*
Today, The Girl Who Could See is officially released into the world! It seems so surreal <3 Thank you so very, very much to everyone who has made this day possible. To all the author friends and editors who have shaped this novella into something beautiful. To all the amazing friends and family who have encouraged me in this journey! To the reviews…and the fangirl sessions…and the late nights and coffee-shop dates. God has been so gracious to surround me with a hedge of special people who have helped me to keep my chin up, even in the dark moments. <3
This little story kind of represents new beginnings for me. When I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease, I wasn’t sure if I could ever function normally again. Chase my dreams or even be able to get out of bed in the morning. But He continually turned my weakness into His strength, and during this broken time of my life, this little story was born. Gathered together from the crumbled pieces of my dreams, and fashioned into something full of hope and meaning. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
All you who pre-ordered the novella on Kindle should be getting your Kindle files now, and those of you who pre-ordered the paperback should receive yours in the mail soon (if you haven’t already).
There’s also a sale going on today! *throws confetti* The Kindle version is only 99c on Amazon! I’d adore it if you’d spread the news? And if you want the Kindle copy, grab it while it’s hot 🙂
We’re also starting the official launch week blog tour! YAY! This blog tour will be a scavenger hunt, which means each blog stop will contain a clue. Put all the clues together, and enter them here (https://goo.gl/forms/X2Tun4QSuQzOUfum1), and you will be entered to win a signed paperback!
Check out the first stop tomorrow at my good friend Emily’s blog: emilybergstrom.com
And for those of you who have read The Girl Who Could See, if this little story has touched your heart, please feel free to write a review or mention it to your reader friends! Thank you for being the heartbeat to this soul-story of mine. Love you all!
